“you cannot do your due diligence like that one. Everytime you say u cant find i can find. You must really go and dig out the details from the website one. I need more information than this article.” These are the words that the as usual mean supervisor said to my intern friend.

Yes yes, it’s just me expressing my unhappiness again.

For your information:
Due Diligence is a term used for a number of concepts involving either the performance of an investigation of a business or person, or the performance of an act with a certain standard of care. It can be a legal obligation, but the term will more commonly apply to voluntary investigations. A common example of due diligence in various industries is the process through which a potential acquirer evaluates a target company or its assets for acquisition

In our case, we are supposed to do due diligence on our potential partners and customers. However, the thing about these clients and partners was that many of them are in developing countries like countries in the caspian sea and southeast asia, where the companies are still unwillingly to provide information on their website/no website available or simply just a doggy company. In such cases, it is really up to us to dig out information from the World Wide Web.

Due to the small scale of this company, they did not invest in any web databases where we can tap into information specific to our industry. Many a times we found some relevant article, but we do not have access to the article as it is a paid article. Hence, it is seriously not easy at times to search for details lest to say contact numbers.

So I do not see why sometimes he has to be so mean in his words. And probably he could have taught us how to search for information too. We are like literally throw into无底洞 and expect us to climb up and get a solution. Ya we will learn from this. Learn how to search for information and stuff on our own. But if its not up to his standard then i think he should tell us how to improve and not just go redo on his own based on what he has and claim that he is doing better than us. When i did not even get to see what the hell he has changed and amend. He merely just told me “your due diligence is ... ya.. you better look at mine” then he just scroll down on his microsoft word and expect me to see the changes. So much for spotting the difference game rite. I always fail at spotting the difference can.

Rah! Dun like.
